Don’t have much time to write — dinner is in 15 minutes — but want to post a couple recent photos of Volcán de Agua, one of the volcanoes that towers over Antigua.

Here’s a photo of the volcano. This one was taken four hours later on the same day — later in the evening, during my walk home from the Internet lounge — on the same street, in nearly the same spot, after the clouds had passed:
The altitude here in Antigua is such that you feel as though you can almost reach up and touch the clouds sometimes. Volcán de Agua, an active volcano within ten kilometers of the city to the south, reaches a peak elevation of 12,336 feet.
